Why You Need To Invest

If you pay attention to prices, then you probably witness inflation in action. A common reason I hear for not investing is lack of safety. Well, there’s also a lack of safety in not investing. Inflation functions like a thief in the night — eroding your buying power every single night. In my 12th YouTube video, I describe this concept, the rule of 72, and more.

If you park $10,000 in a bank and receive no interest on that money, then in 24 years that money will effectively buy what $5000 can buy today (assuming inflation holds steady at 3% during those years). Why is this? Arm yourself with knowledge of the rule of 72, so that you’re prepared to combat inflation during your lifetime.
